Originally from California and raised throughout the U.S., Travis Frazelle now lives in Brooklyn NY.

After graduating from The Art Institute of Chicago with a BFA in 1996, he continued to study painting at The School of Representational Art in Chicago, from which he graduated in 2000. In 2001 he moved to New York to pursue a career in art and for the past 8 years has been a working artist in New York City as well as a studio assistant and painter for artists Peter McGough/David McDermott, David Salle, Chuck Close, and Jeff Koons.
